The blue whale is the largest animal ever known to exist, and its song can travel five hundred miles. It lives almost entirely on small krill which can be found in every ocean of the world. Krills are bioluminescent filter-feeding animals. When a blue whale feeds it takes in huge quantities of krill that lights up the whale from the inside.
