Come Dance This Day

Come Dance This Day

Come dance this day with sound embrace,

Our journey start as one revealed,

With love, respect and grace before,

This moment new and we with song depart,

With touch our wistful gaze conceal.

. . .

With a short poem the mind has time to gather its thoughts as a small cloud shapes itself against the blue sky and moves across my field of view.

In this version of the poem I have split the words differently than it appears at 100 Artworks. The easy  action of seperating words not only changes the poem's flow and music, but also its potential meaning. I continue to be surprised by how the smallest of movements on the page can lead to such different feelings and experiences of them.

Presenting this poem in isolation contrasts its existence with the with and we of dance.
