One of my greatest pleasures is watching the flight of birds. I gaze up at the clouded sky with sound of bird wing strong to wind.

I am drawn ever closer to the interplay between music, words, and images.

Music requires time. It is like a bird on the wing - energetic and insistent for our attention.

As if in sleep, without time, words lay dorment on the page. With words we play, ponder and shape the substance of our world.

We discover a picture as it unfolds within us: over time.
