The peafowl which originated in the Indian subcontinent is related to the pheasant which is common in the fields around my home in England.

As my DNA has European and Far East Asian elements that are mixed with yet more distant ancestry from the Middle East, the artwork Two Peacocks is in part an expression of my multifaceted heritage. More generally it is symbolic of how our intermingling is something to be celebrated.
